Less than six months after an EF3 tornado cut a path through West Little Rock, a thunderstorm producing winds of up to 80 miles per hour ripped through the same area again this afternoon near Rodney Parham and Breckenridge, knocking down trees and power lines and leaving more than 17,000 people without power.
Meteorologist Todd Yakoubian posted videos on his social media pages of a home under repair from the March tornado that was destroyed today for the second time by the microburst winds.

Look at all the power outages. Severe thunderstorm winds hit the same area destroyed by the EF3 tornado last March. #arwx pic.twitter.com/thStnK6L7G

Due to the straight line winds in West Little Rock, residents are experiencing power outages. With many of the City’s traffic signals being out, LRPD and LRFD are on the scene to be helpful. pic.twitter.com/ZVjS5m8raj
