What James says: The biggest question for Arkansas after the loss to Auburn is, how much did the team lose psychologically? Houston Nutt made it a must-win game, and any time you whip yourself into a frenzy — and you could see that we had it in the first half emotionally and then lost it after halftime — you have to question can they get any of that back this week.
On the Bulldogs: Georgia probably has the best tight end (Leonard Pope) you’re going to see; he’s maybe the best in America. The quarterback (D.J. Shockley) can run and throw. If he gets hot quickly it could be over early.
Can Arkansas be in it?: You want to keep the Georgia offense on the bench by moving the chains, getting first downs. You saw what happened last week when Arkansas wasn’t able to get first downs — the defense wasn’t able to stop Auburn’s running game. You’re going to have to move the football and get Darren McFadden a lot of touches,. Georgia’s defense is good but they tend to play to their talent level. They didn’t play well for a half against Louisiana-Monroe or Vanderbilt, and South Carolina had them on the ropes. Arkansas has running backs good enough to keep them in this and every ball game. It should be a competitive game.
The pick: Georgia 28-17.
