Today the Arkansas Department of Agriculture and Secretary of Agriculture Wes Ward, along with agriculture leaders and Governor Asa Hutchinson will gather at St. Joseph Center of Arkansas to celebrate the governor’s proclamation of June 12-18 as Arkansas Farmers Market Week. The proclamation will take place at 10:30 a.m. St. Joseph Center of Arkansas located at 6800 Camp Robinson Road in North Little Rock.

Speaking of farmers market, tomato season is here. It’s supposed to cool off a little this weekend, so it might be the perfect time to celebrate with a tomato sandwich with Duke’s mayo, maybe some fresh, crisp farmers market microgreens, salt and black pepper on Boulevard’s 8-Grain.
