Homer's Kitchen Table

Homer’s Kitchen Table, a rebranded version of Homer’s West, opened this week at 11121 N. Rodney Parham Road in the space formerly occupied by Franke’s Cafeteria. Owner David Connell told us in an April interview that the lease was up this year on the former Homer’s West location, and the restaurant needed more kitchen space. Connell, son of Homer’s founder Homer Connell, worked for his father as a manager at the original Homer’s location on East Roosevelt from 1998-2010. Connell opened Homer’s West in 2012.

Connell said part of the Homer’s West rebrand will be an eventual brunch service on Sundays. Connell said in a Facebook comment that Homer’s will start serving breakfast as soon as it has the appropriate staff in place. Its current hours are 10:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Mon.-Sat.
