Tickets are on sale for this weekend’s Soup Sunday, the biggest fundraiser of the year for Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families. The annual event is being held in North Little Rock at The Venue at Westwind at 7318 Windsong Drive from 4-7 p.m.

A delicious selection of soups, bread and desserts from Central Arkansas restaurants will be available for guests, as well as music to slurp to, kids activities, and an auction with lots of fun specialty items, the press release says.

“Soup is a dish designed to be enjoyed in community,” Soup Sunday co-chairs Ellen and Nate Coulter said. “And some of AACF’s most important tenets are centered around a ‘We’re all in this together’ mentality.”

Fran Carter, AACF Development Director says, “Soup Sunday is not only a family-friendly, fun foodie event. Most importantly, it’s Arkansas Advocates’ biggest fundraiser to support our work. When we can get good public policy passed by the legislature and implemented by the state, it’s benefiting every family across the state.”

All proceeds will benefit AACF. You can see the full list of participating restaurants and the soups and desserts available here and all of the Soup Sunday sponsors here.
