Raising Cane’s, a fast food chain specializing in chicken tenders, announced that it is donating $125,000 in addition to 15% of today’s profits across all of its 750-plus restaurants to Ka Hale A Ke Ola Homeless Resource Centers Inc., a Maui-based emergency shelter in Lahaina, Hawaii, that was destroyed by last week’s devastating wildfire that burned through the town, displacing thousands of residents.

The funds raised from today’s sales will be used in the rebuilding efforts of the shelter’s Westside Center, a 78-unit housing center that was completely lost in the fire.
