Just before the last weekend of the Warhol exhibit at the Arts Center, the Warhol Film Festival, co-presented by the Times, wraps up at Market Street, with “I Shot Andy Warhol,” Mary Harron’s indie bio-pic of Valerie Solanas (Lili Taylor), the radical feminist who tried to murder Warhol in 1968, 7 p.m., $7.50. From Muscle Shoals, Boombox blends slinky guitar lines with break beats and other knob twiddling, 10 p.m., Sticky Fingerz. Satellite Cafe, now open for drinks and appetizers at night, is hosting local singer/songwriter Kevin Kerby performs, 9 p.m., free.  At On the Rocks, local alt-rockers Underclaire share the bill with Danger Ready, 10 p.m., $5. A new weekly tradition: Third Degree hosts live band karaoke at Juanita’s, 9 p.m., $5. Ditto: Saxophonist Gerald Johnson presents an evening of jazz at Off Center, 8 p.m. An old weekly tradition: The Ted Ludwig Jazz Trio warms up at the Capital Hotel Bar, 5 p.m., free, before moving on to the Afterthought, 8:30 p.m., $5. Local singer/songwriter Steele Jessup celebrates the release of his new album with a concert at Juanita’s, with Ryan Couron and Hwy 5, 9 p.m., $6.

In case you somehow missed our lead story, the ARKANSAS TIMES MUSICIANS SHOWCASE kicks off tonight! With Velvet Kente, Frown Pow’r, Magic Hassle and Jordan Atwater, 9 p.m., $5. It’s a guaranteed good time. Down the street, Revolution hosts “The White Party,” where everyone dresses in white, Cupid’s supplies go-go dancers and there’s a big balloon drop at the end of the night. Fittingly, DJ Icey headlines, 8 p.m., $10 adv., $15 d.o.s. At the Afterthought, Runaway Planet pick and grin, 9 p.m., $7.

At Sticky Fingerz, Colourmusic, who self-identify as “hardcore and a little Oklahoma Sex Rock,” lead a bill that includes local rockers Riverboat Crime and Midwest Caravan, 9 p.m., $5. At Downtown Music, North Little Rock’s sludge metal kings Rwake perform with Black Blood Division, A Hanging and Queen Beast, 8 p.m., $6. At Vino’s buzzy local rockers (and Showcase semi-finalists) the See headline, 9 p.m., $6. Singer/songwriter Adam Hambrick performs at Juanita’s with Myla Smith, 9:30 p.m., $7. At Crush, local R&B vocalist J-One and his band Funky Logic provide a soundtrack, with DJ Tenslim, for a lingerie show, 8 p.m., $5.
