After Facebook’s $2 billion acquisition of virtual reality company Oculus, it was only a matter of time before they started putting that VR tech to use.

Facebook has announced the beta of their first serious VR product, Facebook Spaces, which immerses you (and your friends) in a digital space and allows you to change the location, view photos, and draw in 3D.

Given the slow adoption-rate of VR headsets, it’s not certain as to how popular this new product will be, but if there’s a platform large enough to spur a VR revolution, it’s Facebook.
