These contests will be on May 20 election day ballots in Pulaski County. Races for justice of the peace and state legislature will not be on all ballots. An accompanying article will explain districts covered by the judicial contests.
Polls will be open election day from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Early voting is underway at several locations, including the county building at Markham and Broadway, and will continue through Monday, May 19. Hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and until 5 p.m. on Monday, May 19.
If no candidate in the judicial races with more than two candidates wins a majority in the nonpartisan primary election, a runoff will be held in conjunction with the Nov. 4 general election.
