Mary Chapin Carpender, an under-rated songwriter, said it best, “Is it too much to demand, I want a full house and a rock and roll band, pens that won’t run out of ink, cool quiet, and time to think. Shouldn’t I have this, shouldn’t I have this, shouldn’t I have all of this and passionate kisses…”

I feel it’s rare to find a real connection with the kind of intensity that could fog all the windows in the world. The kind of kiss that pulls you you in, where you find yourself unable to disconnect even a moment. When a second is too long to part lips to remove a shirt. Ahh, good stuff. I shared such a magical fit with my old neighbor. Every time. Every single kiss. Knock-photos-off-the-wall good.

When chemistry is fully charged, kisses create sparks. I love it. The same neighbor always smelled amazing yet never wore cologne. He complimented my perfume when I wasn’t wearing any. Neat thing. Can’t force or fake chemistry.

Lately I’ve watched a lot of pretty good movies. My sister Audrey and I accidentally stumbled across a gem, “Adam.” Quirky love story with a perfect kissing scene. Hugh Darcy, the lead actor who portrays the title character Adam, is a new crush. I attribute the newfound affection from his ficticious role. My mother recently mentioned the movie “Unfaithful” with Diane Lane and Richard Gere. She asked, “Have you seen it?” to which I answered, “Yeah. I own it.” She further stated, “The main character is pretty cute.” to which I added, “Yeah. That’s the reason I own it.” This conversation inspired my desire to list my favorite movie kisses.
