Shoppers Receive 20 Percent Discount at More Than 200 Arkansas Shops with ACRC Partners Card

LITTLE ROCK — More than 150 stores in central Arkansas and more than 50 stores in Northwest Arkansas will offer discounts and on their merchandise Oct. 28 through Nov. 5 as part of the Partners Card fund raiser to benefit the Arkansas Cancer Research Center (ACRC) Auxiliary at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). This is the third year for the ACRC to offer Partners Card in central Arkansas and the first year in the northwest part of the state.

For nine days, shoppers who purchase the $50 cards will receive a 20 percent discount at dozens of their favorite stores. All proceeds from the sale of the Partners Cards will go to the ACRC Auxiliary to fund projects that directly benefit cancer patients at UAMS. The auxiliary provides information, services, compassion and hope to those touched by cancer.

“The ACRC Auxiliary Partners Card is great for both shoppers and for retailers,” said Kenan Keyes, Partners Card chairman. “Shoppers who purchase a card receive a 20 percent discount on items such as furniture, gifts and clothes. Plus, they are supporting a great cause by helping patients receiving treatment at the Arkansas Cancer Research Center and by providing grants for cancer outreach programs and education in Northwest Arkansas.”
