Alice Stewart, the former TV news reporter and Huckabee press aide, abruptly decamped from the top press job under Secretary of State Mark Martin last Friday to join the emerging presidential campaign of U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann. Stewart inaugurated her press role with a post on Twitter that said Bachmann had filed campaign paperwork.

She misspelled Bachmann’s first name, with two ls. Presumably, they’ll get to know each other better.
