USA Today reports this morning that, even though George Lucas released the “definitive” director’s version “Star Wars Trilogy” to DVD last year, the fans clamoring for the original releases being brought to DVD will now be satiated.

Maybe they could find some old reel-to-reels that have been through the projector 100 times and put them on DVD, too, with all the cracks and scratches, for total authencity.

Keep spending that jack on “Star Wars” folks. Lucas et al. need the money.
