Trey Danaher of the Arkansas Times ad department saw one of the Tuesday “preview” screenings of “Superman Returns” and files this report:

It was an unbelievably awesome movie. Best movie of the summer, in my humble opinion. The music, wow! The visuals: absolutely stunning.

But the best part was the manager coming into the theater before the movie started. He told us about our special reward for staying up so late to catch the first viewing: the new digital projector at the Rave. We were the first ones to get to see it! It was crystal clear; like watching a gigantic plasma TV. The audio was much better as well.

“Superman Returns” opens everywhere today.
