Charles Lyford  checks in with a synopsis on last night’s Ministry show at the Metroplex; look for his full review in the Times next week:

There was a giant, dancing penis; there was a naked, dancing man, and Ministry hadn’t set foot on stage — the Revolting Cocks, who played after opener Pit Bull Daycare, managed to entertain and of course disturb the audience as they hammered through a theatrical set.

Ministry seemed to at least double the Cocks’ volume for the main show, playing a brutally loud and quite long set featuring two encores. Ministry focused on the resolutely anti-Bush material from their most recent two albums, although classic tracks like “So What” (not a Miles Davis cover) and “Psalm 69” did get treatment.
