Here’s an interesting column from South Carolina’s top paper about the addition of the 12th game this season, and the thought that SEC fans end up cheated.

Being a season-ticket holder ourselves, we knew that all along when we saw Arkansas’s 2006 schedule finalized. At $40 a game, a family of four or a ticketbuyer of four tickets to Hog games had an additional $160 to shell out (not to mention the gas to get to Fayetteville) to see the Hogs play a Division 1-AA team, Southeast Missouri State — who Drive Time Sports’ Randy Rainwater keeps referring to as Missouri State, which is a LOT better. Anyway, at least Hog fans get Southern Cal among their four non-conference games, plus a good SEC schedule in Fayetteville, and one of the chittlins’, Monroe, is fodder for the Little Rock-only Hog fan watchers.
