Kat Robinson reports that the Black Angus seems to have closed. The place was empty when her husband dropped by this weekend. UPDATE: But we checked and the owner says the business IS still operating, though it was closed Sunday, as it always is.

The business has survived a string of locations throughout my time in Little Rock. The spot at Markham and Van Buren was a frequent lunch spot back in the day — 25 years ago — when I had babysitting duties with my young daughter during the day and worked nights. Good burgers. Good memories.
