Gravy, a NYC rapper known pretty much solely for getting shot in the ass outside of Hot 97 (not long after Bobby Bacala shot the rapper in the ass on “The Sopranos”), has been cast as the Notorious B.I.G. in the upcoming biopic. Anthony Mackie will play Tupac.

Last week’s “This American Life” had an amazing piece about retirement homes for chimps. Ira Glass talks to guest Charles Siebert, who’s writing a book called “Humanzee.” Cheetah, the chimp from “Tarzan,” lives in a retirement home in Palm Springs. He’s 75, a diabetic, spending his days eating Dorito’s and drinking diet ice tea. He enjoys watching his old movies. “He’s basically living like the aging Bob Hope,” Glass jokes.
