Mark your calendar. Dorothy Allison, the author of books like “Bastard Out of Carolina” (a National Book Award finalist) and “Cavedweller” (New York Times Notable Book), will headline the Times annual “Pub or Perish” reading series during the Arkansas Literary Festival.

The event will be held on Saturday, April 18, from 6:30 until 9:15, at Sticky Fingerz.
