Chris Meeks, 36, of Hot Springs is on his way to winning zuda.com’s weekly comics contest. Sponsored by DC Comics, the competition brings together eight page comics 10 promising cartoonists and asks readers to vote for a favorite. The artist in the lead at the end of a month of voting gets to expand his comic to 52 pages on zuda.com.

Meeks’ entry is called “Children of Armageddon.” It’s about a seemingly indestructible dude. Nice ode to “Watchmen” above.

Meeks has a blog here. Lots of busty babes with swords and guns.
