Central Arkansas is blessed with a wide variety of eateries that fit the diner mold:  plate lunch specials, burgers or sandwiches and usually pie for dessert – all available during the lunch hour.  Some serve up their meals cafeteria style with a line; others feature a wipeboard and a friendly waitperson to take your order.  What they have in common are good service, good food and a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the noontime repast.

Over at Tie Dye Travels, I’ve compiled a good number of local diners to share, a one-stop-shop of great places to grab a bite.  By no means is it a comprehensive list.  I’d love to find more.  Share your thoughts here.
