Pierce Brosnan is set to play a hitman, who poses as a priest to get close to Billy Bob Thornton’s character, a “gangland traitor.” The movie’s called “St. Vincent.” Maria Bello and Giovanni Ribisi also star.

Walter Hil, who directed “The Warriors” (!) and “48 Hours,” helms.
