Fourth stop on our Breakfast Week tour takes us to Dave and Ray’s Downtown Diner in Little Rock. This slung-back diner sits on Capital Avenue and serves folks at the Federal Building, nearby restaurants and my friends over at Today’s THV.

Back when I worked there, from time to time someone would go make a breakfast run. I loved the fact that they had cream gravy. I remember how good their biscuits were, and with the gravy I could have a rare treat that I often had to pass on because of my allergies.

I decided the other day I needed to check it out and see if it was as good as I remember. Strangely enough, though I’d eaten their food many, many times — I’d never set foot in the place.
