Kresses Dutch Tornado

Kevin Kresse and family are hightailing it to Italy, where he’ll work and teach. To raise a little lira, Kresse is holding a sale of drawings (many of which he found in his old studio above Vino’s, like the one above), paintings and sculpture Friday and Saturday at Pulaski Heights Christian Church. Hours are 5-9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday; the church is at 4724 Hillcrest St.

Who knows — some of those frescoes might get a little restyling, the Kresse touch. Maybe he could call on his past work “Mother Earth” (at 6th and Maple in North Little Rock) in case he gets a commission to sculpt the Virgin.

Kresse is one of our finest. We’ll miss him.
