The Arkansas Pastel Society’s first juried exhibit opens today at the Thea Foundation Center for the Arts, 401 Main St. in North Little Rock. David Mudrinich, associate professor of art at Arkansas Tech, selected the work; the society will make the juried exhibit a yearly event.

There will be a reception for artists tomorrow night at Thea from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
