The Little Rock-born director is following up his big hit “Pineapple Express” with “Your Highness,” a medieval stoner fantasy/comedy written by “The Foot Fist Way” and “Eastbound and Down” writers Ben Best and Danny McBride (who also co-stars).

Is there another director that can work as well with as broad of a net as David Gordon Green? He’s doing “George Washington” one minute, weed comedies the next and, hopefully, still remaking “Suspriria” soon.
