The film, which we’ve written about before, is called “Take Shelter.” It’s among 16 dramatic films selected out of more than 1,000 in competition at this year’s festival, January 20-30.

Here’s the description from Sundance:

Take Shelter (Director and screenwriter: Jeff Nichols) – A working-class husband and father questions whether his terrifying dreams of an apocalyptic storm signal something real to come or the onset of an inherited mental illness he’s feared his whole life. Cast: Michael Shannon, Jessica Chastain, Shea Whigham, Katy Mixon, Kathy Baker.

With Shannon in the starring role again for Nichols, look for “Take Shelter” to attract a good bit of pre-festival hype. With a left-field Oscar nomination last year and a juicy role on “Boardwalk Empire,” he’s the quintessential Sundance star.
