I do a lot of diners and mom-and-pop places on this blog — frankly because like the rest of you I am doing what I can to make ends meet. So it’s rather nice to be able to sit down to finer dining on occasion. Being able to do so and be blown away by something incredible? That’s a bonus.

That’s why I need to recommend The Grand Taverne in Eureka Springs to you. This is one of those fabulous special occasion eateries where you can dine like royalty and receive fantastic attention from a dedicated wait staff — not too big, not ordinary at all. Plus you can relax and soak up the tunes being cranked out by The Lovin’ Spoonful’s Jerry Yester, if you’re so fortunate. Check out the details and such over at Tie Dye Travels, if you wish.
