Eddie Vedder and Natalie Maines, famous for their roles in Pearl Jam and The Dixie Chicks respectively, are in Jonesboro today awaiting the expected release of the West Memphis Three, on whose behalf the two musicians have advocated for years, according to Times reporters Gerard Matthews and David Koon, who’re on the ground.

Most recently, at last year’s “Voices for Justice” rally in Little Rock, where they performed along with Johnny Depp, Patti Smith, Ben Harper and more.
