Here’s one to separate the “glass-half-empty” crowd from the rest of us — you know, the ones who prefer to answer that tired rhetorical question with another, more relevant question: What’s in the glass? I mean, right? That’s what’s important. If it’s half full of Laphroaig 18-year Scotch, say, or solid gold doubloons, well that’s awesome! If it’s half full of Smirnoff Ice or buttermilk or tickets to see Yanni, then no thank you, I say.

In this particular instance, the glass is half full of Hall & Oates — specifically, the Oates half. There’s no Hall in that glass. For if there were, then it would be full. Can you go for that? Then get on up to the UARK Bowl in Fedvul on Nov. 3.

Get your tickets here or if you’re so inclined, go to Liquor World on College Avenue or the UARK Bowl and lay down your crisp Andrew Jackson in person.
