Deas Vail — Russellville’s purveyors of overpoweringly earnest, heart-on-sleeve Christian indie-pop — play a record release show at Revolution. Knox Hamilton and Canopy Climbers open the all-ages show, $10, 8 p.m.

UALR’s Do Deutsch Week presents an evening of German composers at Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall. Students and faculty will perform works by Brahms, Handel, Schubert, Bach, Schoenberg and several others. The concert is free and starts at 7:30 p.m.

Laman Library screens the pro charter school polemic “Waiting for Superman” at 6 p.m., for free.
