The Butler Center has three new exhibits opening for tonight’s 2nd Friday Art Night event: Baskets by Northwest Arkansas craftsman Leon Niehues, named by the Arkansas Arts Council as an Arkansas Living Treasure in 2005; pinhole photographs by the late Little Rock photographer Thomas Hardin from the Butler Center collection and the Arkansas Pastel Society’s 4th national exhibition, “Reflections in Pastel.” The reception is from 5-8 p.m. at the Arkansas Studies Institute.

“The Art of Living,” artwork by the Japanese Americans interned at Rohwer during World War II, continues in Concordia Hall.
