The exhibit was developed by Marjorie Hunter as part of her doctoral dissertation at Arkansas State University. The photos, a works project of the Farm Service Administration, a New Deal program, illustrate extreme poverty in Arkansas and the Mississippi River Delta during the 1930s.

The gallery is open daily and will be open after hours Friday, Aug. 10, for 2nd Friday Art Night, which runs 5-8 p.m.
