It’s probably safe to say that this year’s King Biscuit Blues Festival was the wettest and coldest in the 27-year history of the event, or at least this was the case on Saturday, when the Times took four full buses over the Helena.

But Saturday’s crappy weather wasn’t a deterrent for the most devoted blues-lovers, nor did it keep headliner Bonnie Raitt from taking to the stage to close things out. That said, it was mighty cold and wet by the time Raitt got rolling.
