Friday again and we’re looking for your fabulous feedback. Last week’s discussion brought us a long list of wonderful suggestions, enough to keep me busy for quite a while. We heard about the smoked brisket sandwich with plum BBQ sauce from Southern Gourmasian, peach bundt cake from Sugar Shack Sweets, spaghetti carbonara from Vetro 1925 in northwest Arkansas, grilled salmon and tomato pie from E’s Bistro in North Little Rock, a smattering of dishes from the new Natchez (which we reported on here yesterday), prosciutto chip and poutine at Tusk and Trotter in Bentonville, fat burritos from Blue Coast Burrito, and a Cuban sandwich at the Capital Bar and Grill.
Here’s your chance to sound off on the best dishes you’ve eaten this week. With the holidays approaching, I’ve got family coming in town and they’re aching for an authentic deep-fried Southern dining experience…fried chicken, chicken fried steak, catfish, mashed potatoes, creamed corn, collard greens, etc. Got any suggestions?
Speak up, ask questions, air your grievances (after all, Festivus approaches), sing someone’s praises or pull a Pete Wells…now’s your chance! I know I’ve had a hankering for “Donkey Sauce” all week, maybe you can help me hunt some down.
