Tonight’s Argenta ArtWalk will be busy with at least three new exhibitions: “Home Plate Heroes” at the THEA Foundation, V.L. Cox at Mug’s Cafe and the “Southern Women Artists Exhibition” at Greg Thompson Fine Art.

“Home Plate Heroes” opens the bidding for artist-created home plates to be sold at auction to benefit the Jim Elder Good Sport Fund, which supports several kids’ sports and health organizations. Susan Elder, Jim Elder’s daughter, has held this auction for several years, but this is the last, so head to THEA at 401 Main St. in Argenta and see what you want to buy when the final auction night comes around May 8. The auction is also online.
