Goon des Garcons is off to New Zealand. Specifically, GDG (Brandon Burris), Tan the Terrible (Tanner Dumas), Hector $lash and Solo Jaxon are travelling to Auckland, Tauranga, Hamilton, Wellington and Dunedin, taking the Arkansas sound down under.

While there, GDG will be finishing tracks for his album “AINTNOWAYINHELL,” for which he’s putting together a “coffee table photobook” to accompany the album. That photobook, along with New Zealand tour lighters, t-shirts, hoodies and hats are among the swag the four rappers are offering as incentives on their fundraising campaign.

You’ll have at least two chances to catch a performance before they hit the road. The first is this Saturday, August 6 at Vino’s, where Tan the Terrible joins Monsanas, MvK Lxui$, Pega$us, Pearl Gangg, Terminal Nation, Yuni Wa and DMP Jefe for “Fire Room,” a series Burris created to showcase local rap and hip-hop talent, 8:30 p.m., $10.

The second is at Rev Room, where GDG performs with Young Gods of America, the “creative agency” comprised of Taylor Moon (Taylor Walker), Mach Soul (Kaylan Marks), Cool Chris (Chris Williams), Fresco Grey (Jordan Lowe) and Reggie Gold (Reggie Golden). They’re joined by the New-Zealand-bound Solo Jaxon, Hector Sla$h and Tan the Terrible, 9 p.m., $10.

Until then, here’s Goon des Garcon’s video for “BACK ON THE RD.”
