North Little Rock’s Argenta Arts District offers up some pre-Christmas festivity tonight (Dec. 21) with its Third Friday Argenta ArtWalk (5-8 p.m.), where Greg Thompson Fine Art, 429 Main St., is knocking 15 percent off artwork prices at its “Holiday Show and Sale.” Also up: The Argenta Branch of Laman Library, 420 Main St., hosts an exhibition of work by Meikel S. Church and Susan Bowers and live music by Ben Brenner. See impressionist Barry Thomas paint at his studio at 711 Main St.; see the Latino Art Project’s show “Myths and Legends” at Core Public House, 411 N. Main St.

At 8 p.m., you have two shows to choose from: “A Fertile Holiday,” the ensemble’s holiday comedy, at the Joint Theater and Coffee Shop, 301 Main St., ($24, tickets at jointargenta.com), and “The Spirits of Christmas,” Haunted Argenta’s spooky sort of holiday performance that includes illusions and mentalism, at the Elks Lodge ($20, tickets at hauntedargenta.com/tickets.)
