Matthew Lopas, the Hendrix College art professor known for his fish-eye-lens paintings, has a show at the Argenta Branch of the Laman Library (420 Main St.), “The Expanding Vision of Matthew Lopas.” The Argenta Art Walk reception will also feature music by Ben “Swamp Donkey” Brenner and a demonstration of sketching by self-taught artist Scarlet Sims.

Contributing artists include Lourdes Valverde, Charles Degollado, Inez Valdés, Luis Atilano, Isaac Helguera, Luis Saldaña, Sabrina Zarco, Juan Barragán, Elías Robledo and Lisandra di Liberto.
