The Downtown Little Rock Partnership has never met a downtown alley it doesn’t like, as evidenced by its series of alley parties. Now, the DLRP is launching “Between the Bricks,” a public art project to cover alley doors with original art reproduced in vinyl.

Entries must be scaled in such a way that when enlarged they’ll fit either a 36×84-inch single door or a 72×84-inch double door. To submit, go to the Between the Bricks project.

Once accepted, the artwork will be featured on the DLRP website, where business owners and sponsors can view and select the work they want to buy. The artist will receive a one-time stipend of $300. The cost of the doors will be $600 for a single door and $750 for a double door, which includes all costs.
