Ashley McBryde — Mammoth Spring native, country music superstar and all-around badass — took home the award for Best Music Event of the Year at the Academy of Country Music’s annual award ceremony for her duet with fellow musician Carly Pearce, “Never Wanted to Be That Girl.”
