The Argenta Vibe Series that brought you North Mississippi Allstars earlier this summer is back with Gina Chavez, a bilingual philanthropist and musician whose multiple Austin Music Awards are testament to both her captivating songwriting and her social justice-minded approach. Guaranteed some of the folks that caught her set at The Rail Yard a few years ago will be in the audience for this one.
“Food trucks and Flyway Brewing will be set up at Argenta Plaza starting at 5:30 p.m. with live music by Gina Chavez from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.,” the press release says. “Limited seating available; attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. No outside alcohol or coolers will be permitted. Only drinks purchased from restaurants and bars within the Argenta Outdoor Dining District will be allowed.”
