Need some last-minute plans for tonight? It’s not too late to race down to Hot Springs for their Gallery Walk, which occurs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the first Friday of every month. Impressive coordination has resulted in an abundance of participating businesses. Here they are:

Local Art Entity: The Club House – 118 Arbor Street
Creating a new Gallery Walk experience, The Local Art Entity will feature live music by the band SAWYER during their Spring Art Markets: March 3, April 7, and May 5. They host a community Art Market curated with unique local vendors as well as a fun Family Sip & Paint area from 5 pm – 9 pm.

Dryden Pottery – 341 Whittington Avenue
We invite the public to come see our new tremendous Grecian pitcher! We are also continuing to show paintings by the talented artist Kristi Ahlquist @kristiahlquistfineart.com.

A culmination of over 75 years of research and development. Third Generation Owned and Operated. In-house formulated glazes and custom blended clay combine to create a finished quality that is easily recognizable as “Dryden.” They are made with the local Arkansas quartz silica mined nearby in Malvern, AR. and processed here in Hot Springs! The Circle Gallery at Emergent Arts – 341 Whittington Ave
One Night Only! Hosting performance artist Bai Mros and insallation artist Kara Gunter with Germinal, a collaborative event featuring a concurrent live performance by Mros and an installation by Gunter. This event may only be viewed during Gallery Walk, March 3, from 5:30 pm – 8 pm.

Whittington Gallery – 307 Whittington Avenue
Join Whittington Gallery for the March Gallery Walk from 4-8pm.  Located walking distance from Central and Park Avenue, our 5,000 sq. ft space features the works of over 50 local artists. In addition to the debut of 8 new artists to our gallery family, we’ve been updating our space with some fresh paint and signage that we are pleased to share with you! Celebrate life and art with birthday cake and complimentary refreshments on our back patio, facing Hot Springs Creek and West Mountain or relax on our ample indoor seating while connecting with artists and fellow art lovers. We will be featuring The Traditional Art Guild’s voted Art of the Month, “Thundercat” by Emmanuel Alvarez Valencia.

The gallery features original fine art in diverse styles and mediums from Arkansas artists as well as internationally known artists; and also carries women’s clothing, gifts, and housewares.

Artists’ Workshop Gallery – 610A Central Avenue
The Featured Artists for the month of March are Tony Tabone and Emanuel Alvarez Valencia both of whom are local artists. Hot Springs High School is the featured school for March and April. Their program is led by Hot Springs World Class School 2022 Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Shirly Tipton. The Gallery invites you to join them for Gallery Walk, Friday, March 3, from 5 to 9. Charlie Mink will entertain visitors with relaxing tunes on his dulcimer.

Celebrating 30 years in business! We appreciate all the patrons and artists that have made this possible. Working with wood since the early 70’s, he has expanded his creativity in wood. Rebecca Peterman Photography – 801 Central Avenue, Suite 30
The photographic art of Rebecca Peterman including architectural photos of downtown Hot Springs and the premier of her 50/Fifty Series of portrait stories of women over 50 and the ways they transform as they age.

Justus Fine Art Gallery – 827 A Central Avenue
The March Exhibit at Justus Fine Art Gallery will feature a selection of new paintings by Mike Elsass, along with work by Susan Baker Chambers, Matthew Hasty, Robyn Horn, Dolores Justus, John Lasater, Michael Francis Reagan, Sandra Sell, Steven Wise, and others. The gallery will host a reception from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, March 3 as part of the monthly Gallery Walk in downtown Hot Springs. The exhibit will be on display March 3 – April 1, 2023.
