Documentary on Arkansas renters’ rights to screen in Fayetteville

In response to the appalling lack of protections for tenants in Arkansas, human rights attorney Stephen Coger and Iron Lotus Creative have put together “A Safe Place To Sleep,” a 17-minute documentary featuring conversations with the vulnerable renters across Arkansas who have been most affected by this legislative oversight and the advocates who are working to make things right.

You can view the documentary above or come to the in-person premiere in Fayetteville on Monday, March 20, which will include a Q&A with Monique Jones and Sen. Greg Leding (D-Fayetteville). The screening is at 7 p.m. at the Squire Jehegan Outreach Center (115 S. Willow Ave., Fayetteville, AR 72701).
