Sonic Fuzz Anna Culpepper

As far as I’m concerned, Little Rock quartet Sonic Fuzz is the perfect stoner house show band: slackery but never sleepy, rocky but never loud, and simple but never lacking in intrigue. Released last Friday, their new album — “Melodies From Mars” — miraculously combines scruffily smooth vocals, distortion-free dissonance, ping-ponging bongo taps and flanger-flooded guitar solos to create a soundscape unlike anyone else in Central Arkansas. “Melodies From Mars” is available wherever you stream, but can also be pre-ordered on vinyl. Sonic Fuzz is Dalton Pabst (guitar/vocals), Jon Nevárez Arias (guitar), Addison Moore (drums) and Jacob Straub (bass).
