The 2017 Henry Award winners will be revealed at the 43rd Annual Arkansas Governor’s Conference on Tourism to be held in Little Rock at the Statehouse Convention Center March 12-14, 2017. The awards ceremony will take place during the Governor’s Banquet on Tuesday, March 14, at noon. The Henry Awards honor Henri de Tonti, the man historians consider to be among the first “Arkansas Travelers.”

Jack Pearadin, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, and Doug Nelsen, of Winneconne, Wisconsin, found a 1.73-carat diamond on Sunday, December 11.
