The Scowling One, who likes to send out email to constituents under the heading of “From the Front,” needs to figure out just exactly where the “front” is this week, and which side he intends to fight for.

I was going to devote my blog today to TSO’s votes last week, but that can wait for a another day or so.

Congressman Womack, who has declared his fealty to President Donald Trump on more than one occasion, has a chance to prove his mettle this week, when he fashions a response (assuming he does so) to the dismissal of the FBI director.

I harbor no hopes for John Boozman, who has perpetually shown himself to be just another GOP sycophant. But TSO, who aspires to be seen as a champion for his beliefs, well, Trump’s actions are tailor-made for a man who wishes to be seen as rising above the common herd.

Or will he prove himself yet again to be nothing more than the good soldier he has been since being elected, a loyal member of the team who won’t jeopardize his place in the line-up by being too noticeable, or asking the wrong questions?

Yeah, I know. He’s picked his side, and it ain’t ours.
