In addition to appearances by mythologist John Bucher, theoretical physicist Dr. Kelly Reidy and science writer Rebecca Boyle, musical performances include Blonde Redhead, Allah-Las, Sun Ra Arkestra, Deerhoof, Mary Lattimore and U.S. Girls, amongst many other notable names, some of which have yet to be announced.

ASU computer science students will launch a data-gathering balloon over Petit Jean Mountain during the 2024 eclipse

Around the same size as the National Weather Service’s weather balloons, the balloons can lift up to 12 pounds of equipment to altitudes over 100,000 feet, and they'll strut their stuff over two locations in Arkansas — one launched over Russellville and another launched from Petit Jean Mountain.
