In his resignation letter to the county, state Sen. Fred Love (D-Little Rock) said he disagreed with the county attorney's determination that he had a conflict of interest.
The resignations do not indicate state Sen. Fred Love or Veletta Smith were involved in alleged fraud in the county's housing department, a county spokeswoman said.
