Gov. Beebe fills two judgeships

Gov. Mike Beebe's appointments today included two to judicial openings. * Amy Brazil of Conway was named a circuit judge to succeed Rhonda Wood, who's moving up to the state Court of Appeals (right after making a hash of the law in attempting to punish someone politically for seeking Wood's recusal from a case that shouldn't have been assigned to her.

I learned today that the state Judicial Discipline and Disability Commission had notified two judicial candidates in 2010 that they complaints against them for improper use of partisan endorsements would be dismissed.
